Ever since I was a young child, I have been on camera in home videos. I have always felt the need to been seen on camera. I always seemed to like being in the "spotlight." At the age of 2, I began singing. I had an aunt that would sing along with me. I grew up in a home where my father often sang and performed in churches and at events. He also started a record company which he named CHAVANDA RECORDS. He has several songs on his label. Through his side of the familiy, I am related to Aretha Frankin, the Clark Sisters, Isaac Hayes, and Actor Mel Jackson, (and an uncle who was drafted to the NBA before he received an injury which prevented him from playing.) My mom has been in choirs for years and currently sings the praise songs for church. So, as you can see, I come from a very talented family . In later years, my entire family would sing at church.
I also have been playing the piano since I was 4 years old. I started off by playing by ear but then in high school, I decided to seriously learn how to read chords better. I am expanding and sharpening my skills in several of my life, career, and talents. I play the drums and the guitar, as well.
I see myself as a "melting pot of talent"!!

All throughout school, I have received Citizenship awards, Honor Rolls/Principal Honor Rolls, and other certificates for participation in various events such as musical performances, etc.
I have also received recognition for winning a fire department drawing over the entire district while in 2nd grade, 1st place in the district for a poetry contest about peace while in middle school, and for being one of the top 3 best spellers of my entire school while in the 8th grade.

Singing, acting, dancing, modeling. I love animals and I have a great love and connection with dogs. Other top interests include basketball, computers, reading/learning, writing (songs, rap/rhymes, poems). I also enjoy sports, hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, and whatever else is safe and fun. I am very creative and can come up with some great ideas. I am fairly good at fixing things and I love to hook up my car with sound systems and lights (inside and out).
I am the type of person that has a little bit of interest in just about everything! I want to be the type who knows at least a little about everything!
